Aaron Nesmith was interviewed after the Celtics loss to the Trail Blazers, and was asked how the emotions of their comeback win on Friday would affect the team today. “I mean, they just came out and hit a bunch of shots…we definitely didn’t come out with the right defensive intensity, but in the second half were able to pick it up. But we gotta be able to do it for 48 minutes.”
On his recent tear of good play and his confidence, Nesmith said “Yeah, just sticking with it, continuing to work, and continuing to do the work. Y’know, the early mornings, still waking up every morning and getting to the gym and getting extra shots up, consistency. Even if it’s not falling, I’m gonna keep shooting…so as long as I keep doing that and keep the same mindset, they’ll continue to fall.” Nesmith finished with 16 PTS on 6-7 shooting (a perfect 4-4 from deep).
