Full Bio : Jackson Neill is a senior at Temple University studying Media Studies and Production with a focus on the Production Track. He also is enrolled in the Honors Program at Temple. Jackson has a passion for audio and video production in areas such as sports and entertainment and has experience being an on-air talent. Since starting at Temple, Jackson has pursued various opportunities both at the university and in the professional world. Recently, he has worked as a Programming Intern for the NPR musician interview show World Cafe as well as a News Intern for WXPN, the station that broadcasts the program. At Temple, Jackson is an anchor for OwlSports Update, the university’s 30-minute live sports program. His first semester behind the desk came in the fall of 2020 and because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was tasked with establishing a new workflow by hosting the show virtually over Zoom. While Jackson has a strong focus on his career he still finds time for his other interests outside of work. Growing up on the Jersey Shore in Stone Harbor and Ocean City, he spends as much time as possible on the beach either swimming, skimboarding, or just relaxing. He also is constantly listening to all genres of music with Alternative Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B/Soul as his favorites.
