The 76ers' drop coverage blew up in their face, as an early effort from Joel Embiid slid into a massive faltering against the Celtics' bench unit. Enes Kanter, Brad Wanamaker, Romeo Langford and Grant Williams drove a +24 swing for the Celtics during the second quarter that made Philadelphia falter the rest of the night toward an eventual 27-point loss. Philly has ben a mess all season. It’s obvious even when healthy that this is a mismatched group of talent. Joel Embiid has done everything he can through two games but the 76ers supporting cast without the injured Ben Simmons has come up way short.

The Celtics are playing well on both end of the floor. The 76ers played their best basketball for a quarter in game 2 and still only led by 6 and were then run off the floor over the final 3 frames. Philadelphia has no answers for Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown or Kemba Walker. Embiid and others body language indicated this is a team who knows their limitations and may already be dreaming of life back outside the bubble.

Expect Boston to win this one going away and put the 76ers on the precipice of elimination.

Celtics 122, 76ers 104

Jayson Tatum started his first NBA Playoff run as the Celtics' best player with back-to-back 30 point performances. After an 8-for-12 three point shower over the 76ers in another blowout, bolstering Tatum's shooting split at 50% in the bubble, how high do we have to consider him among the NBA's best? Bobby Manning and Josue Pavon weigh him against his current rival Joel Embiid on the Garden Report.
