Julian Edelman 4 Game Suspension Upheld

Edelman who is recovering from ACL surgery will miss the first 4 games of the season.

Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman will miss the first four games of the season after his appeal of a 4 game PED suspension was denied.

There was some hope Tom Brady’s favorite targert might skate after it was reported by MMQB’s Albert Breer that the positive test was “triggered by a substance that wasn’t immediately recognizable. ESPN reported that Edelman was also trying to prove that the NFL made mistakes in the documentation and delivery of the test results.

None of that seemed to matter was the suspension was upheld today.

The Patriots receiver maintains he did not know why he tested positive in an Instagram apology to fans.
