Welcome to the CLNS Raw Recap here on the CLNS Media Network! This is your home for the results of WWE Raw, including a recap of all the matches and segments throughout the show. Join me as we discuss what these outcomes could mean for the future of the red brand as we work towards the Greatest Royal Rumble!

WWE Raw comes to you tonight from St. Louis, Missouri!

Segment 1: Brock Lesnar Appearence

Starting off the night we have the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman. He cuts a promo on how Brock destroyed Roman and that he is simply unbeatable. Paul says that Brock earned his new contract by demolishing Roman at WrestleMania. He also says that Brock is going to absolutely shred Roman this Friday in Saudi Arabia and Roman’s music hits.  He says one line, “Believe That” and the segment is over.

With rumors run rampent that Brock is only signed for one more date this in fact could be his last Raw for quite some time. If Brock stays I fully expect him to to go over and retain. If his contract is in fact up then expect Roman to pick up the title in a much more Roman friendly place, Saudi Arabia.

Match 1: Elias vs. Bobby Roode

Next we have a match between one of the newest Raw superstars and good old Elias. Roode has complete control early, that is until he tweaks his knee coming off the top rope. Elias uses this to capitalize and grab some heat by going right after Roode’s injury. Roode makes his comeback hitting a blockbuster off the top rope but Elias rolls out of the ring. When Roode tosses Elias back in the ring Elias rolls him up for the surprise win.

Winner: Elias

Match 2: Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy vs. The Ascension

Now we have a glorified squash match. While The Ascension get some nice offense in for a short time, it comes to an end rather quickly as Bray hits Sister Abigail on Konner followed by a combined twist of fate on Viktor for the win.

Winner’s: Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy

Segment 2: Sami and Kevin Show

Now begins the first ever Sami and Kevin show right here on Monday Night Raw. Sami and Kevin discuss how they are going to win the Greatest Royal Rumble. Kurt Angle is the special guest and comes to the ring with one of the biggest pops of the night. They trade barbs back and forth and talk a lot about Stephanie McMahon and Jason Jordan. Kurt explains how on Friday he is going to eliminate them from the Greatest Royal Rumble and that tonight Kevin and Sami have to face Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman.

Match 3: Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre vs Titus O’Neil and Apollo

Titus dominates the match early as Ziggler cant mount any offense. After around 30 seconds McIntyre tags in to face Apollo and hits a Claymore into a Zig Zag for the win. After the match they cut a hell of a promo stating that McIntyre is the change WWE desperately needs.

Winner’s: Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

Segment 3: Kurt Angle Promo

Kurt and Chad Gable are discussing why he was brought to Raw as Jinder Mahal interrupts. He demands to be sent back to Smackdown citing how he has already been unfairly treated on Raw. Angle denies his request and makes a match between Mahal and Gable, up next.

Match 4: Chad Gable vs. Jinder Mahal

Mahal jumps gable before the match even begins. He rolls Gable back in the ring and the match starts. Gable’s style is very much like amateur wrestling mixed with technique based grappling, unusual in today’s game. Mahal is in control for most of the match as Gable can’t seem to get anything going. Gable eventually mounts a small comeback but Mahal regains control. As Mahal goes for the Khallas, Gable rolls him up and gets the 3!

Winner: Chad Gable

Match 5: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman

Next we have a match where the heels continually have to run from the faces due to pure fear. Lashley is firing on all cylinders, hitting all of his signature moves, He lets Sami tag in and the beat down continues, that is until Owens pulls the rope down on Lashley sending him flying over the top rope. They play around the hot tag to Braun teasing it a few time’s. It finally have it happens and Strowman devastates the duo. He hits huge a huge clothesline, Lashley hits a hanging suplex and Strowman hits a running powerslam for the win.

Winner’s: Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley

Segment 4: No Way Jose/ Baron Corbin Promo

Before the match starts, Baron Corbin tells Jose that he only wants serious competition and that Jose isn’t on his level. Corbin says that until he stops running around with the conga line, he won’t wrestle Jose. As Jose conga’s to the back Corbin takes him out and that ends the segment.

Match 6: Seth Rollins and Finn Balor vs. The Miztourage

Now we have the worst match of the night, a title usually never associated with Seth or Finn but man this was boring. Maybe it was just the fact that no one cares about The Miztourage without The Miz bit something in this match just didn’t work. The pace wasn’t great either, it felt off, almost like they were given too much time with no real direction. Overall it wasn’t a bad match but compared to the other matches tonight it fell very flat. Seth hits the Curb Stop, tags in Finn who hits the Coup De Grâce for the win.

Winner’s: Seth Rollins and Finn Balor

Main Event: The Riot Squad, Mickie James and Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, Nia Jax and Natalya

Finally we have the same Main Event as last week however this week it’s the women mixing it up. While not a very well put together match the women made up for it by having some interesting spots here and there. At the end of the match Natalya “hurts” her knee, this leads to Ronda Rousey making the save and taking out Mickie James to end the show.

Winner’s: The Riot Squad, Mickie James and Alexa Bliss by DQ

Match of the night: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman
