BSJ’s Greg Bedard is joined by Nick Cattles to continue breaking down the latest in the Christian Gonzalez saga. They discuss what to make of the recent developments including comments from Gonzalez’s trainer, Christian “Flight” White, who addressed contract updates on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Felger and Mazz” yesterday. The guys weigh up whether White is really in the know, what fans should take from his appearance, and discuss what the mood might be in the Gonzalez camp. After giving their reaction to the interview, Greg and Nick guess what the feeling is inside Gillette after White’s comments and how involved Mike Vrabel may be with the negotiations.
Later, the guys react to Sunday’s roster cutdowns and the Patriots’ latest additions. Greg expresses major concerns over the depth at EDGE and hints at some possible short-term fixes.
