Join me as we discuss what these outcomes could mean for the future of the Red brand as we work towards the Elimination Chamber.

WWE Raw comes to you live from San Jose, California!

Segment 1: John Cena Promo

Overall a standard promo from Cena, he never does anything different anymore. He has cut the same promo over and over and over again and I have to say I for one am so bored with it. Luckily the Miz interrupts and saves the segment. This leads to a Miz vs Cena match whit the loser being the 1st entrant in the Elimination Chamber.

Match 1: The Miz vs. John Cena

A very typical match between these two. A solid match overall but it honestly feels like they have done this so many times that no one cares anymore. Give the Miz some credit though he is the one who makes these matches and wins these promo’s but with Bo and Axel banned from ringside he had no shot.

Winner: John Cena

Segment 2: Woken Matt Promo

A great promo by Matt as he further expands on the Woken Universe and how in the Fatal 5 Way he will DELETE all the other competitors.

Segment 3: Gallows and Anderson Promo

Another quick promo about the Revival being nerds and how they are breaking the Nerd-O-Meter by how they continue to act. This transitions into Gallows and Andersons entrance where the Revival jump them before the match and hurt Gallows Knee.

Match 2: The Revival vs. Gallows and Anderson

A lengthy but boring match with the Revival continually focusing on the knee. While the concept and story for the match were solid idea’s I just didn’t like the execution. Both these teams need to be faster and more upbeat as far as match pacing goes.

Winner: The Revival

Segment 4: Kurt Angle Promo

Kurt explains how Jason Jordan is going to be out past WrestleMania after having successful neck surgery. He says that he feels for Jason and doesn’t want his career to end like Kurt’s so he told him to get the surgery. The surgery was a success but he will be out a significant amount of time.

Match 3: Sasha Banks vs. Bayley

This was by far the best singles match of the night and if not for the fatal 5 way it would have been match of the night overall. This was a great performance by both ladies, back and forth action, false finishes the works. If you have 10-15 minuets and missed this match I would highly suggest going back and watching it. The finish is perfect and with a hometown girl winning it was a great pop.

Winner: Bayley

Segment 5: Seth Rollins and Roman Promo

A really quick and boring promo with Roman saying if Seth wins tonight he is going to pin him in the Elimination Chamber. The Bar walk into frame and the four trade insults back and forth with each other. This was really bland and dry and not funny which unfortunately is what they were going for.

Segment 6: Titus Worldwide Segment

Worst of the night, just a terrible promo from both Titus and Apollo. Dana Brooke deserves better and so do the fans.

Match 4: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs. Mickie James and Alexa Bliss

A really quick match with a bunch of cheating on the side of Mandy and Sonya, this leads to Mandy pinning Mickie James and Absolution jumping her after the match. Alexa makes the save again and this could signal a face turn if they plan on doing her vs. Nia at WrestleMania.

Winner: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

Segment 7: Elias Elimination Chamber Blues

Great segment with Elias singing about how he will win the Elimination Chamber and how San Jose Sucks. He gets over and I get the appeal but I just can’t get into his gimmick. I have seen him since his NXT days and its all the same. Great job by Braun mocking him and coming down to the ring and destroying him.

Match 5: Sheamus vs Roman Reigns

This is as typical as a match gets for Roman. Another boring match with him being dominated and miraculously winning in the end. The hardcore audience who watches all of WWE’s content and actually loves the wrestling are just bored in these matches. I knew exactly how and when the match was going to end. What a shock Roman goes over again and the crowd yawns.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Main Event: Fatal 5 way for the last spot in the Elimination Chamber, Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins vs. Apollo Crews vs. Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt

By far the best match of the night. Great spots by all of the guys, everyone had a chance to shine and spread the pop’s throughout the match. It had a really nice flow with some low points but when you are on TV it happens. The finish was a little wonky but they wanted both Seth and Finn in the chamber so they both pinned Bray at the same time for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins and Finn Balor

Overall and okay Raw, I wish they would have more interesting storylines and push some characters that actually deserve it but it is what it is and with WrestleMania coming up it seems like this is the direction they are going. We will see in due time how it plays out but it could mean the undercard for Mania could be another let down.

Match of the night: Fatal 5 Way Main Event
