The vice-presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) is tonight. The debate will take place following Pence’s negative test for COVID-19 after Donald Trump’s infection and subsequent outbreak at the White House. Nonetheless, the candidates and the moderator will be divided by plexiglass.
Pence plans to continue to campaign and travel, despite being first in line for the presidency should Trump be unable to perform his duties (due to Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis, the debates on October 15th and October 22nd are now up in the air.)
