Griffin was asked about the recent incidents involving Russell Westbrook and Trae Young, specifically in relation to their upcoming games in Boston. This was his response: \u201cThere\u2019s obviously a line\u2026 I think what happened to Russ is far beyond that line\u2026 that\u2019s jst like he was kind of giving it to him at the end of Game 1 and they were giving it back to him\u2026 it\u2019s fun to play in those situations\u2026 you never want anything to cross the line, but that\u2019s not really my thought going into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Griffin expanded on that answer and was asked more specifically about his experiences in the city of Boston: \u201cThat\u2019s a good question\u2026 it\u2019s kind of an understood thing when you go into certain places that it\u2019s going to be a pretty rowdy crowd\u2026 I\u2019ve heard things throughout my time in the league\u2026 never played a playoff game in Boston\u2026 I have a lot of respect for the fans in Boston, they\u2019re loud, they support their team, but yeah you hope it stays like that\u2026 I\u2019m not going into it with that expectation because I haven\u2019t had that experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lastly, Griffin was asked about how the Nets dealt with Robert Williams in Game 2.
