BOSTON \u2013 The Red Sox and Foxwoods are becoming an annual destination for New England baseball fans craving the national past-time in the dead of winter.<\/p>\n
The Red Sox announced Wednesday topics for the six panel discussions that will take place during the 4th Annual \u201cBaseball Winter Weekend\u201d event Jan. 19-21 at Foxwoods Resort and Casino, which is now sold out with over 6,800 tickets sold, and over 40 current players, alumni, and coaches scheduled to attend.<\/p>\n
Among the players, alumni, and coaches scheduled to attend “Baseball Winter Weekend” are Andrew Benintendi, Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley, Jr., Rafael Devers, Craig Kimbrel, Dustin Pedroia, David Price, and Chris Sale. Alumni scheduled to attend include Wade Boggs, Dennis Eckersley, Carlton Fisk, Fred Lynn, Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Jim Rice, Luis Tiant, Jason Varitek, and Tim Wakefield.<\/p>\n
