Smackdown Live comes to you tonight from Baltimore, Maryland!

Segment 1: Paige Announcements

Starting off the night we get the Smackdown Live GM Paige. She recaps the events of Backlash and says that there will be Money In The Bank qualifying matches all night long. The first match is up next and it is The Miz vs. Jeff Hardy!

Match 1: Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz

Now we are gifted with an incredible match, Them Miz is on top of his game right now and is red hot. Jeff was in control early, connecting on multiple high risk moves into a commercial break. When we return we see he is still handling The Miz. Jeff goes for his signature jaw breaker but The Miz reverses and has momentum for the first time. As the match continues they brawl to the outside once again. Jeff regains control and sends The Miz back. He hits the Twist Of Fate but The Miz reverses the Swanton Bomb. As we come back from a second commercial The Miz now has control and is looking to put away Jeff Hardy. However Jeff reverses the Skull Crushing, hits another Twist of Fate and The Swanton for A TWO!?!? The Miz quickly rolls Jeff up for the THREE!!!

Winner: The Miz

Segment 2: The Bar Backstage

Cesaro and Sheamus discuss how Sheamus lost to Xavier Woods last week. They decide Cesaro should face Xavier this week to see if he can do any better. As they go to check their gear they open their bags and they are filled with pancakes. They get infuriated and leave the area to end the segment.

Segment 3: Shinsuke Nakamura Segment

Next, Renee Young try’s to interview Shinsuke again but he continues to say he doesn’t know how to speak English. However after she asks about AJ Styles Shinsuke says they are both nuts and they are not through.

Match 2: Charlotte Flair vs. Peyton Royce

Before the match Peyton and Billy Kay aka The IIconics bring up Charlotte’s loss on Sunday and make fun of her yet again. Now the match starts and Charlotte is taking all of her frustrations out on Peyton. Peyton slams Charlottes head off the apron to take control for a short time as she grinds her down with a multitude of submission moves. Charlotte regains control with a neck breaker and a flurry of chops. Peyton then regains control when Charlotte gets distracted by Billie Kay. Peyton hits her Spinning Back Kick but Charlotte kicks out at 2. Charlotte Reverses a rollup into a Figure 8 and qualifies for Money In The Bank.

Winner: Charlotte Flair

Match 3: Xavier Woods vs. Cesaro

Next we get a quick mid card match trying to continue the story from last week between The Bar and New Day. Just as last week Woods is working as the mega underdog and Cesaro dominates the entire match until Woods make one last comeback. The difference this week is that Woods gets distracted and caught with an uppercut, sealing the win for Cesaro.

Winner: Cesaro

Segment 4: AJ Styles Interview

Next we have a very quick AJ Styles backstage interview. AJ says he stooped to Shinsuke’s level at Backlash. he isn’t done with Shinsuke and wants to finish him for good.

Match 4: Becky Lynch vs Mandy Rose

Next up on the card is Mandy Roses Smackdown Live debut. She comes out with an new hypersexual entrance with new music to boot. This is by far the quickest match of the night as about three minutes in Mandy gets a surprise roll up win.

Winner: Mandy Rose

Main Event: Daniel Bryan vs. Rusev

Finally we get another Money In The Bank qualifying match. There were great spots through the entirety of the match. Rusev stopped a Bryan suicide dive and through him onto the announce table, huge kicks from both men and multiple false finishes. Unfortunately the toll that Big Cass put on Bryan over the weekend was too much for him to overcome. Rusev hit the Matchka Kick for the three after interference from Aiden English.

Winner: Rusev

Match of the night: Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz
