There’s a new NBA Title favorite in Los Angeles, and it’s not the Lakers. According the online gambling site BetOnline.ag, the Los Angeles Clippers (+275) are the new favorites to win the 2020 NBA Title.
The change comes after the Clippers shocked the NBA world, signing reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and dealing a record number of first round draft picks to acquire Paul George from Oklahoma City.
The moves are just two of the many franchise altering moves that have been made in free agency so far- such as Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving teaming up in Brooklyn, Al Horford joining the Sixers and Kemba Walker ready to dawn the Celtics green, to name a few.
Trailing the Clippers are the new look Lakers lead by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, followed by a pair of Eastern Conference squads in the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers. The top five is rounded out with the James Harden led Houston Rockets.

The Golden State Warriors, who underwent a number of changes this offseason, slightly trail the Rockets. While the Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz (+1600) and the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets (+2000) finish off the top ten.
The new look Brooklyn Nets which will feature Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and DeAndre Jordan fell just out of the top 10, as Durant is expected to miss the entire season due to a torn Achilles.
A lot can still change between now and the start of the NBA season in October, but it appears the race for the NBA Title is as wide open as it has been in years.
