Ex NFL Star Dez Bryant announced on Wednesday via Twitter that he wants to return to the NFL this season.
The online gambling site BetOnline.ag released it’s odds where Bryant might end up and no surprise, the New England Patriots are high on the list.
I’m not trying to go nowhere and be a starter on a team I want to contribute because I know I will be able too… I’m feeling good… in two weeks I’m going to reach out to teams and see what happens…. let’s go X

Bryant signed withe the Saints last season but tore his achilles in his first practice almost exactly a year ago.
Prior to signing with the Saints Bryant openly courted New England but the Patriots passed.
Obviously New England is not averse to taking low risk fliers on players with baggage having signed both Josh Gordon and Antonio Brown the past two seasons.
The Patriots are expected to get N’Keal Harry back after the bye week and also have newly acquired Mohamed Sanu to go along with Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett and Jakobi Meyers. Based on that grouping the Pats saw fit to part ways with Josh Gordon and it’s difficult to see Bryant as an upgrade over Gordon at this stage in his career.
Bryant hasn’t played a regular-season game since 2017. He finished with 69 catches for 838 yards and six touchdowns that year with the Dallas Cowboys.
