What’s the best birthday present you could get for Tom Brady, the man who has it all?
How about a 6’3″ former All-Pro receiver.
According to Howard Balzer of Balzer Football, wide receiver Josh Gordon has applied for reinstatement.
Heard from league source that Josh Gordon has filed for reinstatement from suspension.

Gordon is currently indefinitely suspended for violating the NFL’s Substance Abuse Policy during last season,
Gordon still needs league approval before he can return to action.
Patriots head coach was recently asked about Gordon’s situation.
Gordon was traded to the Patriots early in the 2018 NFL season in exchange for a 5th round pick.
During his 10 games with the Patriots, Gordon recorded 40 receptions for 720 yards and three touchdown.
He left the team after week 15 last season and released a statement that read…
“I take my mental health very seriously at this point to ensure I remain able to perform at the highest level. I have recently felt like I could have a better grasp on things mentally. With that said, I will be stepping away from the football field for a bit to focus on my mental health.”
“I would like to thank coach [Bill] Belichick, Mr. [Robert] Kraft, as well as countless others within the Patriots organization for their support. I want to thank my fans for their support as well as I continue down the path getting back to 100%.”
There has been a lot of pressure on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to reinstate Gordon. Especially after the league let Chiefs Receiver Tyreek Hill slide following an alleged domestic violence incident that included audio recordings.
