Another Day, Another Ugly Loss for the Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox were trounced by the Toronto Blue Jays last night, losing by a final score of 8-0.

Trevor Kelley (0-1, 9.64 ERA) took the loss, working 1.2 innings, allowing two earned runs on three hits. However, it doesn’t really matter how the pitching does if the offense only musters up two hits.

Mookie Betts didn’t play, Xander Bogaerts only got two at-bats, and the rest is history. Another ugly loss for a Red Sox team that can’t seem to get out of their own way.
