Jake DeBrusk was back on the ice for the Boston Bruins today after missing the last eight games. He came out firing scoring two goals in the win today. Also Ryan Donato, Nick Holden, and Patrice Bergeron scored in the win for the Bruins. The Bruins are still in  first place in the Eastern Conference.

However an injury happened in the third period for the Bruins as Brandon Carlo had to be taken off the ice in a stretcher, in the third period after going down. But the Bruins injuries really don’t phase this team and can still pull out wins. Tuukka Rask was great also in net today as he got his 34th win of the season.

The Panthers did strike first in the first period but that would be all the scoring they would get. At the end of the day this Bruins team doesn’t quit. Bruce Cassidy said after the game Riley Nash got  stitches in his ear, after taking a puck to the head in the second period. There is no update on the Brandon Carlo injury.

The Bruins got their 49th win Saturday afternoon and only a handful of games left before the playoffs.
