Boston Celtics Win 7th Straight, Still Stuck 4.5 Games Back in Eastern Conference

Jaylen Brown a Late Scratch at Washington | Boston Celtics Win 7th Straight | Powered by CLNS Media

Kyrie Irving and the Celtics were very good last night, but the Toronto Raptors were better. Boston won its 7th straight, but remains 4.5 games back in the East.

Toronto improved its league-leading record with a 20-point win on the road at Golden State. For now, the Celtics are merely treading water.

There’s been a bug going around the Boston locker room, and Jaylen Brown was the latest victim last night. He was a late scratch, joining Gordon Hayward on the injury report with an illness.

Boston is back home against Atlanta tomorrow, looking to keep the streak alive.
