Brunch Movie Review: Lady Bird (podcast)

    Oscar season for Lady Bird

DJ and Pete review Lady Bird in today’s episode, a movie about a coming of age that people can relate to. The movie is nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress for Soairse Ronan, Best Supporting Actress for Laurie Metcalf, and Best Original Screenplay. DJ says the movie panders, even though he hates that word. A surprise celebrity is in there, but one no one really wanted to see. The movie gets points for respecting women. That’s always a plus. Timothee Chalamet is in the movie as well. Remember him, from Interstellar?
