Kyrie Irving has opted out of his 1-year, $21.3M deal with the Celtics. He is now set to become an unrestricted free agent on June 30th. Aron Baynes opted into his player option with the Celtics, earning him $5.9M for this upcoming season.

The Celtics are engaged in trade talks for Anthony Davis, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. All despite the fact that Davis’ agent Rich Paul said his client would most likely be a rental if acquired by Boston.

Kevin Durant underwent successful surgery on a ruptured Achilles tendon earlier today.
