Noted Boston comedian Lenny Clarke took aim at Boston detractors, Hillary Clinton and someone who he believed cost the Patriots another Super Bowl.
The city of Boston has taken a lot of flack for racial insensitivity over the years.
However, don’t tell that to Lenny Clarke.
In a recent appearance with CLNS Media, Clarke was emphatic about how much Boston has changed over the years and went on the attack of those who continue to question.
“Maybe Boston was racist, but I think as a city we’ve grown,” said Clarke on the Get the Ledd Out podcast. “And the people who are stirring the pot are scum-sucking pigs!”
Clarke is no stranger to politics either. A graduate of UMass Boston with a degree in political science, he ran an unsuccessful campaign for mayor of Cambridge. A supporter of President Donald Trump, Clarke is adamant in his disdain for Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary Clinton, how many people has she killed?,” questioned Clarke. “I don’t know more than Kennedy’s. But the thing about Hillary Clinton is, with that Benghazi thing: one phone call and those guys would have still been alive.”
Clarke is currently throwing fundraiser for the Navy Seals Family Foundation. Many members of that group agreed with his stance.
The longtime comedian also directed some ire at Alex Reimer for remarks he had made about Tom Brady’s daughter in the lead-up to Super Bowl LII.
“He cost us the Super Bowl,” Clarke stated. “I blame it on Reimer!”
