Isaiah Thomas made some recent comments about wishing he had gotten a second opinion or more information about his injured hip during the playoffs last season. Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge responded Thursday. During a weekly radio hit with 98.5 The Sports Hub, Ainge claimed Thomas did receive a second opinion. He also stated that he was happy to see Thomas nearing a return.
The Celtics host the Houston Rockets tonight. Chris Paul is out for Houston, while Jaylen Brown remains sidelined by a sore knee for Boston.
