Emerson Polling: Donald Trump approvals sink in America’s heartland; Democrats on the Rise; Rep. Steve King on the brink in Iowa
The energy in The Resistance is palpable. A massive blue wave to usher in the rule of the Democrats to counterpunch the Presidency of Donald Trump seems inevitable.
A fresh new e-Poll from the nation’s most trusted resource, Emerson Polling, has the Democrats on the march in America’s Heartland. Iowa looks to be going blue.
Republican incumbent Kim Reynolds is trailing Democratic challenger Fred Hubbell 36-31 to be Governor of Iowa.
But that’s not all. Democrats have substantial leads in two of Iowa’s four congressional districts. And even more surprisingly, longtime veteran Republican Congressional stalwart, and major Trump ally, Rep. Steve King has just a slim ten point lead over a seemingly unknown Democratic upstart, J.D. Scholten.

“[King’s] district is a very strong Republican district,” Prof. Spencer Kimball said in an exclusive interview with CLNS Media. “It’s basically how Trump was able to take a nine point win — winning this district by nearly 30 points.”
In an understatement of all understatements, Kimball would go on to say, “It’s very interesting to see this race as even competitive at this point.”
And it’s not just the wind that’s behind the Democrats. The energy for the Republicans, and most importantly, its leader Donald Trump — just doesn’t seem to be there.
