Michael speaks with Amber Lambke, Founder/Owner of Maine Grains about working with local farmers and the Community to provide Brewers, Bakers and Chefs with quality grain.
Maine Grains specializes in freshly milled, organic and heritage grains for stoneground flour and rolled oats. We sell to bakers, brewers, and chefs throughout the Northeast. The gristmill is also home to the Maine Grains Dry Goods Store, The Miller’s Table cafe, Happyknits yarn shop, the Skowhegan Farmer’s Market, and the Maine Grain Alliance teaching kitchen.
The Miller’s Table at Maine Grains is a farm-to-table cafe celebrating the cultural cuisine of central Maine, influenced by our location on the “Old Canada Road”. We capitalize on our location in Skowhegan’s Maine Grains grist mill to showcase the all-natural and certified-organic whole-grain and sifted flours, oats, wheat berries, rye, cornmeal, buckwheat, and more, processed on site and sold throughout the northeast under the Maine Grains label. Maine Grains products are the central theme around which our menu is organized.
