With no Kyrie Irving, the Celtics needed other stars to step up on the road against the freshly-vaunted 76ers. Gordon Hayward, Al Horford and Jayson Tatum all obliged with more than 20 points a piece in a 112-109 win.
Hayward was electric from the field, Horford got the better of his matchup with Joel Embiid and Tatum hit the shots he needed to.
After two bad losses at home, the Celtics hit the road to figure things out. They’ll return home with a statement win over an Eastern Conference favorite.
