No Matter How You Spin in It, Celtics Win Vs. Thunder a Much Needed Victory

Brad Stevens, Jayson Tatum & Carmelo Anthony Comment on Last Night's Miraculous Celtics Win

Last night’s miraculous win against the Oklahoma City Thunder wasn’t the biggest win of the season for the now 48-23 Boston Celtics, but it certainly was a much needed one.

With injuries piling up to star players and key role players by the minute, last night’s 100-99 final over the Thunder was a morale booster for a team that has had to deal with injuries at a far too staggering rate.

Marcus Morris was second on the team last night with 21 points, with no three points more meaningful than the final three-pointer that came off of an assist from Jayson Tatum.

Tatum, along with head coach Brad Stevens touched on the final inbounds play — a broken play from the Celtics — among other subjects, while Carmelo Anthony lamented his two missed free throws that would have iced the game.
