In the series finale against Kansas City, Boston had plenty of performers on offense. Mookie Betts launched his 10th homer and Rafael Devers continued his hot streak by driving in two on a line shot into center field. Christian Vasquez also helped in the effort by hitting his first triple of the season.

Still, it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine for Boston. Slugger J.D. Martinez had to leave the game due to back spasms, an issue that has popped up in recent weeks as well. If he ends up missing a chunk of time some guys in the lineup will need to step up.

Tonight the 33-29 Red Sox host the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. Rick Porcello will counter Tampa’s Yonny Chirinos as the Sox look to continue to gain ground in the AL East. You can catch the matchup tonight at 7:10 by watching on NESN, or listening to it on 93.7 WEEI FM.
