The Boston Red Sox dropped yesterday’s game to the Tampa Bay Rays by a score of seven to four.  Jhoulys Chacín got the not for the Sox, however, Bobby Poyner received the loss.  The Red Sox get set to open up a three-game series tonight against the Texas Rangers.  Eduardo Rodriguez gets the nod as he looks to stay red hot.  Rodriguez currently has a five and one record with an ERA of 1.00 over his last seven games.  The Red Sox will be squaring off with right-hander Edinson Vólquez as he currently holds a 5.02 ERA while only pitching 14 and a third innings this season.  First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 at Globe Life Park.
