Red Sox Look to Start their Second Half Off Right Against Los Angeles Dodgers

Tonight the Sox start the unofficial second-half of their baseball season as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers

At 49-41 Boston really disappointed in the first half. After winning 119 total games in 2018, the 2019 Red Sox came out flat going 6-13 in their first 19 games. Ever since then it seems Boston has been trying to play catch up. They currently sit 9 games back of the New York Yankees in the American League East and are behind both the Oakland Athletics and Cleveland Indians for the second American League wild card spot.

Boston hopes they can turn their season around and make a postseason push. But to get there, they need to win some more games. That starts tonight against the Dodgers at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.

In game one of the series, Boston lefty Eduardo Rodriguez faces off with Dodger starter Kenta Maeda. You can catch the game tonight at 7:10 by watching on NESN or listening to it on 93.7 WEEI FM.
