The Boston Red Sox were blanked 5-0 yesterday by the New York Yankees. Eduardo Rodriguez was solid as he pitched six innings while only allowing one earned run and striking out nine batters. However, the Red Sox bats stayed quiet as they collected seven hits without scoring a run. The Red Sox dropped the four-game series as they move on to face the Blue Jays tonight. Nathan Eovaldi gets the nod to begin the three-game series. Meanwhile, the Red Sox bats will be squaring off with right-hander T.J. Zeuch. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 at the Rogers Centre.
