The Boston Celtics held the 27th pick in last night’s NBA Draft. They used that pick to take center Robert Williams out of Texas A&M. Williams, who was a projected lottery pick, slipped to the Celtics due to raising concerns with both his character and medical reports.

All around, it was a successful night at the NBA draft for a lot of teams. The Phoenix Suns took DeAndre Ayton with the first pick and traded for tenth overall selection Mikal Bridges. The Sacramento Kings took Marvin Bagley second overall. The Dallas Mavericks made a trade with the Atlanta Hawks to acquire Luka Doncic third overall. Jaren Jackson went fourth overall to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Atlanta Hawks used the fifth overall pick from Dallas to select Trae Young.
