The Boston Red Sox bounced back in Game 2 of this difficult seven-game stretch, winning 6-2.

Eduardo Rodriguez was brilliant yet again, going seven shutout innings, allowing just five hits and striking out eight. E-Rod improves to 11-1 at home in 2019, while the Red Sox are just 23-32 when anybody else starts in front of the home crowd.

Mookie Betts hit his 24th and 25th home runs of the season on the first two pitches he saw last night. He contributed four hits and five runs batted in overall in the Red Sox 6-2 victory.

Brandon Workman notched his 11th save of the season as well, working the final 0.2 of an inning in last night’s contest.
