FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots concluded Day 12 of preseason training camp with the blue vs white scrimmage. A.J. Brown spoke to reporters about going up against Christian Gonzalez and if it has set the tone at practice:
“With us going at it each and every day…When you step out there, you know anybody can get it…And I think that’s the mentality.”
Brown also spoke about the trash talk exchanges with Christian Gonzalez at practice:
“I actually talk to myself, so he may hear me talking to myself, and he may take it like I’m talking to him…We’re teammates at the end of the day, and we’re just competing.”
