Steve Nash was interviewed postgame after the Nets’ huge 141-126 win vs the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of their first-round series. Nash talked about the improved offense, Kyrie Irvin’s big night, and James Harden’s 18 assists.
Brooklyn struggled on the offensive end in Game 3. Nash was asked about what adjustments the team made in this one that allowed for so much offensive success. This was his response: “We ran more actions, we were still terrific in isolation, but we ran more actions… clearly we had a great shooting night, as well.”
Nash was also asked about Kyrie Irving, who had a big-time bounce back game. He had a hard time finding a rhythm in Game 3, but came out in full force. This was Nash’s answer: “I mean, you know it’s Kyrie Irving… my money’s on him any time after a performance like he had where he couldn’t quite get into the game in Game 3… I loved his will to take some of this adversity and have a great game, he was terrific.”
