WWE Raw comes to you tonight from Long Island, New York!

Segment 1: Kurt Angle Promo

Starting off, the Raw GM comes to the ring, announcing that tonight there will be two qualifying matches for the money in the bank. He is then interrupted by Braun Strowman. As Angle is talking about how Braun deserves to be in the match, Kevin Owens interrupts. He then makes his case to be in the ladder match. After he insults Angle, Kurt puts KO in a qualifying match vs Braun.

Match 1: Braun Strowman vs  Kevin Owens

Immediately after the commercial break we cut to Braun handling KO. Braun is on the offensive most of the match, the only time Owens gets the upper hand is on reversals. They do a classic big man count out tease a few times but it is all for not as Strowman is in control. He then hits the Running Powerslam for a quick win.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Segment 2: Roman Reigns Promo

Now we cut to Roman Reigns speaking with Mike Rowe. He claim’s he is pissed off and that he is going to dominate tonight. This is his yard and he is laser focused on the WWE Universal Championship. Then they throw in a couple of pre filmed promos of people who want into the money in the bank matches, including Bayley , Breezango, Goldust and Jinder Mahal.

Match 2: Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil and No Way Jose vs Baron Corbin and The Revival

Then we have a fairly thrown together match that really had no purpose other than to get all of the people on the card. The heels , Corbin and The Revival dominate the entire match until a hot tag to No Way Jose. After Jose makes his comeback Baron Corbin gets a blind tag and hits Jose with the End Of Days for the win.

Winner’s: Baron Corbin and The Revival

Match 3: Sasha Banks vs. Ruby Riot vs. Ember Moon

Now we have a qualifying match for the Women’s MITB Match. This match hits early and often with nice spots throughout. After dominating early Sasha spends most of  her time on the outside of the ring. Ruby controls the middle of the match forcing her will on Ember Moon. Later in the match as Sasha is about to win, The Riot Squad interfere. Bayley makes the save but as Ruby and Sasha are distracted Moon hits the Eclipse on both of them. She pins Ruby and gets the 3.

Winner: Ember Moon

Segment 3: Bobby Lashley Sit down Interview

Now we get some background on Bobby for the fans who don’t remember him from 10 years ago. They discuss his family, his wrestling history and much more. It was a really different style segment from what the WWE usually does and it was an interesting change of pace for the show.

Match 4: Jinder Mahal vs,. Chad Gable

Now we get our first squash match of the night. After Gable won in a massive upset last week this was the rematch and man was Jinder pissed. He made quick work of Gable and destroyed him even more after the match. This will most likely result in Jinder getting a qualifier match for MITB. After the match we get more prerecorded MITB promo’s from Alexa Bliss and The Ascension.

Winner: Jinder Mahal

Match 5: Rhyno and Heath Slater vs Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler

After one squash match comes the second of the night. Slater and Rhyno get in about 3 moves until Drew gets in. When that happens it’s all but over as the and Dolph hit the Claymore/Zig Zag for the three.

Winner’s: Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler

Segment 4: Elias Concert

Before his match with Bobby Roode, Elias goes through his normal town by tow schtick. Tonight he claims he is on another planet than everyone else, including Bobby Roode. He then insults Billy Joel and Long Island. He also claims he is going to go on to win the MITB Match and win the Universal Championship. Finally he gets interrupted by Bobby Roode and that starts the match.

Match 6: Elias vs. Bobby Roode

Elias starts the match hot as he is incredibly pissed Roode interrupted him again. That doesn’t last long as Bobby takes control aand holds it into the commercial break. When we return Elias has regained control off of a super-plex. He works Roode down with a cross face and various submission moves that deteriorate the back. As Elias sets up for his finisher, Bobby reverses into a Glorious DDT and gets the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode

Segment 5: Seth Rollins Promo

Now we get a solid promo from the Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins saying that he learned that he needs to be a fighting champion. He says he wants to create an opportunity for someone else and issues an open challenge for the IC Title. This Challenge is open right now and Mojo Rawley answers the bell.

Match 7: Seth Rollins vs. Mojo Rawley for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Mojo takes control early using his size and strength to his advantage. H sends Seth into the barricade on the outside and hits a huge spear on Rollins. As we return from the commercial break Rollins makes his comeback, hitting a sling blade and two suicide dives to the outside. Seth sets up his curb stomp but Mojo reverses into his unnamed finish. After Seth kicks out at 2 Seth hits his spin out knee and the Curb Stomp for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Match 8: Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel vs Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt

Now we have the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions taking on Bo and Curtis who are the definition of floaters. After about 3 seconds Matt and Bray are in complete control and keep it for most of the match. For a short second Dallas and Axel control Matt in the corner but that is short lived as Bray single handedly takes out both of them. Matt comes in and the team hit a double Sister Abigail on Axel for the win.

Winner’s: Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt

Main Event: Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor

Finally we get our second MITB qualifying match on the men’s side. This was surprisingly quick for a Main Event. It was solid overall with Sami and Finn working together to take out Roman. The match spilled into the crowd and Roman got hit with both finishers in the crowd. This lead tow Finn and Sami fighting back into the ring. As the two fought, Roman regained himself and eventually climbed back into the ring. He quickly regains control hitting a superman punch on both men. As he goes to hit a spear Jinder Mahal distracts him, he gets taken out by Smai Zayn and Zayn gets hit with the Coup De Grâce from Balor for the win.

Winner: Finn Balor
