FOXBOROUGH — The New England Patriots completed practice today following the Patriots roster officially being cut down to 53 players. The big topic of discussion is the Patriots 2nd year Running Back TreVeyon Henderson’s status entering week 1 of the season.
Henderson was absent from practice today with an ankle injury that he suffered on August 24th when he slipped on a cut in practice during 11-on-11s.
Henderson who last made an impact for the Patriots last season with 180 carries good for 911 rushing yards and 9 rushing TDs to go along with 35 catches for 221 receiving yards and receiving TD last year.
With Henderson not out there for practice today and the lack of experience currently filled in the backfield CLNS Media’s Taylor Kyles and Mike Kadlick take a look at the current state of the Patriots Running Back room and if TreVeyon Henderson is unable to go week 1 would that be a major concern?
