Brad Stevens was interviewed postgame following the Celtics; 120-113 win vs the Lakers. He talked about the late-game collapse and Jaylen Brown’s stellar performance.
The Celtics almost blew their once 20+ point lead vs the Lakers, winning only by seven points. “Sure got exciting at the end,” Stevens said. He was forced to put the bench back in during the final minutes in order to close out the victory. “We still have a lot to improve on.”
Jaylen Brown had a 40-point game vs the Lakers on 17-20 shooting from the field. “He just said hot,” said Stevens. “Tonight he was really dialed in scoring the ball… he’s had a great year and continues to get better.”
Stevens also talked a little bit about the turnover issues Boston has had this season. “We have a tendency to be a little loose with the ball,” he said. The C’s had 21 turnovers on the night.
