WALTHAM – Following Monday’s short practice, Boston Celtics’ head coach Brad Stevens said his team is ready for Game 5.
“We’re ready to play Game 5,” Stevens said. “We did a lot of great things in Game 4… I was encouraged by why I saw.” Despite coming out with a loss on Sunday, the Celtics head coach seemed to be confident in his team heading into Tuesday night’s Game 5. Stevens also praised Jaylen Brown’s Game 4 performance, saying that he was the reason Boston was in the game down the stretch.
He had no update on the potential return of Celtics guard Marcus Smart.
