Brett Brown “Brad Stevens Should Have Gotten a Vote”

Brett Brown talks to the media prior to Game 5 between the Celtics & Sixers about Brad Stevens getting blanked in Coach of Year voting.

BOSTON – Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown spoke to the media prior to Wednesday night’s Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

On Wednesday morning, the NBCA coach of the year award was announced, with Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey taking home the honors. It didn’t take long for Boston fans to realize that head coach Brad Stevens didn’t receive any votes. Brown heard that news in Wednesday’s pregame press conference, and seemed to agree with the Celtics faithful. “He didn’t get a vote? He should have gotten a vote. I would have voted for him.”

Brown went on to discuss Game 5 prep and what he expects Stevens and the Celtics to do following their Game 4 loss.
