Jayson Tatum dropped 44 points, finishing in the lane and drilling a crucial late three as part of a 16-of-25 shooting masterpiece. He hit shots through contact at the rim, attempted eight free throws, and hit a fadeaway through double coverage in the corner before halftime trailing by 15 points to spark the comeback.
Tatum has been on fire in recent weeks, even taking home the award for Eastern Conference Player of the Week in week 16. He’s averaging over 30 points per game during the Celtics’ six-game winning streak.
Steph Curry, meanwhile, put on one of his most entertaining and unstoppable performances of the season with 47 points and 11 three-pointers, including a long two and-one basket through Grant Williams that he shot with his left hand. Curry eventually got slowed by an ankle injury and the Celtics won the game, but he’s now averaging over 40 points per game in April. Who impressed you more? Curry or Tatum?
