Boston Celtics general manager, Danny Ainge, spoke to the media on Thursday morning following the conclusion of their 2019-20 season. Ainge touched on a number of topics, including the health of his All-Star point guard. Ainge said Walker was never fully himself in the bubble and the Celtics never had him 100 percent healthy in the playoffs. While he doesn’t need surgery as of now, the team will monitor if that’s in the cards for Walker if he doesn’t show improvement.
Sierra Goodwill and Bobby Manning discuss Ainge’s comments on Walker and the team.
