WALTHAM – Jaylen Brown spoke with the media following the Boston Celtics’ practice on Monday afternoon, noting the importance of defending your home court, while praising the fans at TD Garden.
“Playing in front of your home crowd, they can almost be like the best sixth man in the league.” Brown reiterated the crowd’s impact on games, especially in the postseason. He said they’ll need to be in the right mentality heading into Game 5 on Tuesday night.
Brown also discussed the development of Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum, saying that he is “ahead of the curve”. He said that Tatum’s high level of play is a big reason why they have a chance to advance to the second round. “He’s one hell of a rookie though.”
