Kyrie Irving Returns to the Nets

Kyrie Irving says that he's "feeling what's going on in the world" as he explains his 12 day absence from the Nets.

Kyrie Irving said “I’d be lying if I’m not feeling what’s going out in the world,” and felt a huge responsibility to contribute to something bigger than basketball and the NBA. Irving left the Nets 12 days ago without telling anyone and later was seen in the club, which entered him into NBA COVID protocol before he returned to practice today. He’ll return to play the Cavaliers on Wednesday with James Harden and Kevin Durant. He apologized to the fans and spoke with each teammate about his absence, which stemmed back to the days following the attack on the US Capitol and capped with his purchase of a house for George Floyd’s family.
