BOSTON, MA — Tuesday night was a rollercoaster for the Boston Bruins.

It began with a shorthanded goal from Brad Marchand. Then Jake DeBrusk went down, Nick Ritchie scored a power play goal, Tuukka Rask appeared to injure himself and then let in a goal (he ended up being fine), the Bruins lost that 2-0 lead, gave up a 3-on-0 in overtime and then won it when Craig Smith fired one past Tristan Jarry.

Yes, it was that kind of night. One that would leave any fan of either side out of breath.

The Bruins did escape with the 3-2 win and there was quite a bit to take away from the crazy game.

The Bruins are back in action Thursday night against the Penguins. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. from TD Garden.
