Terrence Clarke Dead at 19 Before NBA Draft

Terrence Clarke's passing shook the basketball world to its core. Goodman and Ryan spoke of his memory and the lesson to take from his death.

Bob Ryan said Terrence Clarke’s death is both a lesson to young people about reckless driving and a lost opportunity since Terrence Clarke had enormous potential and took pride in being an ambassador for Boston basketball.

Jeff Goodman remembered him as someone who took criticism to heart and wanted to get better, and shared the story of when he almost documented Clarke’s path from high school to Kentucky to the NBA. Clarke died in a car accident on Thursday at 19 in Los Angeles, three months before he was going to be picked in the NBA Draft.
