The New England Patriots are bolstering their offensive line by bringing in veteran offensive guard Greg Van Roten to help improve the Patriots offensive line depth. The signing comes in response to some injury losses being suffered during the preseason opener versus the Indianapolis Colts last week. Van Roten has played in the NFL for 11 years for the Giants, Raiders, Bills, Jets, Panthers and Packers and has appeared in 144 games over those 11 season with 105 starts. The veteran guard will be a player the Patriots can rely on for potential depth needs at the offensive guard position.
