After a poor shooting performance in his summer league debut vs the Hawks, Celtics shooting guard and 2020 lottery pick, Aaron Nesmith bounced back to in the win over the nuggets. Helping lead the team to victory, Nesmith finished the game with game-high 33 points, seven rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes. Shooting a lot better vs Denver, he converted 13 of his 18 field goal attempts and went 7-for-9 from downtown.
Postgame Nesmith told reporters he is focusing on “ballhandling, passing, and focusing on shooting always because shooting is my calling card & what I do best,”
