FOXBORO – A.J. Brown went up against his former teammates today for the first time since being traded earlier this summer.

A.J. Brown spoke to reporters after practice about going up against his former teammate, Quinyon Mitchell, in practice today:
“Same Quinyon. He’s getting better and better. I’m excited for him.”
“That first rep, Q got away with a little holding, but I won… I just gotta finish the play.”
Brown also praised Drake Maye’s leadership:
“He’s such a nice guy… He’s pushing all of us. He’s an incredible leader. When he speaks, a lot of guys- they’re locked in. That’s very special to be so young just to have the attention of the room.”
