Drew Butler and Nick Bahe of Betonline.ag break down the current odds to win the Eastern and Western Conferences. Outside of the Nets (-280), the playing field is fairly even.
Brooklyn remains the heavy favorite in the East, with the 76ers (+550), Bucks (+700), and Hawks (+900) rounding out the rest of the odds. As for the West, there’s much more parity.
Betonline.ag lists the Jazz as +140 favorites, but the rest of the pack is not far behind. The Clippers (+200) and Suns (+300) both possess solid odds to reach the Finals. The Nuggets (+1400), on the other hand, have a tough road ahead of them.
Drew is going with a heavy underdog for his pick of the night. “Sometimes you just have to roll with the hot hand,” he says referring to Atlanta’s Trae Young. He’s taking the Hawks to come out of the Eastern Conference.
Nick chose a safer option, selecting the Suns to win the West. “I love the experience that they gained in taking down the Lakers,” he explains.
