Preview – Preakness Stakes Props | BetOnline.ag

Ally Melendez and Matt Bernier of Betonline.ag take a look at some prop bets for the Preakness Stakes. The event is set to kick off this Saturday, May 15.

The first prop bet in question is “will the winner go gate to wire?” Medina Spirit just recently won the Kentucky Derby in that fashion, so Bernier has that at the front of his mind for his prediction.

“If I think Medina Spirit is the most likely winner of this race, he’s going to win this race very similar to the way he did the Kentucky Derby – he’s going to go gate to wire,” stated Bernier. He is going with the underdog choice with the odds set at +217 “Yes” and -275 “No” at Betonline.ag.

Bernier also has his eyes set on the eventual winner’s time. Betonline.ag has the over/under set at 1:55 seconds for the winning time. “Over” is set at -120, while “Under” is at -110. Bernier has some strong thoughts on this prop bet.

“These horses, they’re good, but I don’t think they’re superstars,” he says. Bernier is taking the over on this prop bet.

Will Medina Spirit get another win? Will an underdog slip through the cracks? No matter what happens, be sure to lock in all your bets over at Betonline.ag before the race gets going this weekend!
