Auerbach Center — Brad Stevens spoke to the media after making his first selections as President of Basketball Operations. Stevens drafted French Guard Juhann Begarin with the 45th Overall Pick. Stevens says “the most likely avenue” for our new draft pick is to continue to play overseas for now, but that is not set in stone. He mentioned its possibility he could play in the upcoming summer league.

Stevens says Begarin is a big, strong guard who can guard up a position. Begarin is a 3-level scorer with 2-way potential, an amazing athlete and very physically gifted at 6’6, 214lbs, with a 7ft wingspan.
Brad Stevens also confirmed that the following players will be a part of the Summer League roster: Yam Madar, Payton Pritchard, Carsen Edwards, Romeo Langford, Aaron Nesmith, Moses Brown. Also added that he has not reached out to any GM Candidates and that the rumors are false.
